When I started doing things that “weren’t really me,” I became more myself than I ever was: Ride the Vespa. I’m not sure who puts those voices in our heads. Those little voices that tell us what to do, and pretend to know who we are. Those little voices that say “oh, we don’t do that,” or “that doesn’t sound like you,” or “no, no, that’s not who you are.” They are so limiting. Sometimes even paralyzing. I guess it’s time to stop worrying about who put the voices in, and simply change them. That Vespa isn’t going to ride itself. You be one. You be the one who dares. You be the one that feels the wind, the sun, the life pulsing through your veins. It sounds like you! Go ahead, ride the Vespa!
